Leonid Khedyk, PLVision’s CTO, is speaking at ONF Connect, the primary event for next-generation SDN solutions and open source networking, held on 10-13 September, 2019, in Santa Clara, CA.
Leonid joins the impressive lineup of speakers from Google, Intel, Cisco and other leading industry players. In his presentation, he will address new capabilities of Stratum, enabling optical transport support for Edgecore’s Cassini chassis, a key infrastructure element of ONF’s ODTN exemplar platform. This year’s conference has a separate track dedicated to next-gen SDN (Stratum & P4).
Leonid is driving PLVision’s contribution to ONF’s Stratum project, the next generation network operating system (NOS) for white box switches. Stratum is primarily focused on supporting machine interfaces (P4RT, gNMI and gNOI) to automate network operations and enable user defining network element behavior with P4.
Edgecore’s Cassini is an open hardware platform contributed to OCP (Open Compute Project). Unlike traditional white-box switches, it enables network operators to integrate the packet switching and optical technology worlds as well as easily extend and migrate existing metro and long-haul networks.
Leonid will share the results of extending the Stratum NOS with optical transceivers configuration for Cassini chassis with the help of TAI library.
Make sure to mark Leonid’s presentation slot in your ONF Connect 2019 calendar: September 11, 5.00 PM – 5.30 PM.
Book a meeting with us at the event to discuss your SDN solutions development challenges and, specifically, NOS development and integration!
