We are happy to announce that PLVision, a software product development company, specializing in computer networking, embedded systems, and IoT connectivity, is marking its 15th anniversary this year. This is an important milestone in the company’s history, signifying a new stage of growth and transformation as a vendor building cutting-edge software.

Over the past several years, PLVision’s brand has become well-established in the industry due to its strong track record of serving global businesses – both enterprises and startups – in bridging the gap between networking hardware and software.

In spite of the global turbulence caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s attack on Ukraine, PLVision’s 15th year has been productive and full of significant achievements.  PLVision has also added prominent customer accounts to its portfolio and has considerably expanded its collaboration with existing clients, leveraging our expertise in open-source systems like SAI, SONIC, and DentOS, and our unique experience with 7 leading switch silicons.

In addition to developing numerous products built on disaggregated software systems, for networking hardware and solution vendors, PLVision has introduced a new service offering, delivering solutions for the DPU and SmartNIC segment based on innovative DASH technology.

As part of our commitment to open networking, the company gained membership in the Open Compute Project (OCP), developed its own SAI Challenger solution, and contributed it to OCP, which was followed by a presentation at the 2021 OCP Global Summit. As an active member of the DENT ecosystem, PLVision collaborated with Marvell on SwitchDev driver implementation and DentOS development for their Prestera® Ethernet switch platforms.

Another of PLVision’s recent accomplishments is the launch of the company’s private high-tech lab in Kraków (Poland) to supercharge networking innovation.

The company has continued its ongoing dedication to technology education. Our on-the-job training programs in SONiC NOS have attracted many talented engineers to the team, boosting their skills in the networking domain while enabling us to efficiently scale our project capabilities. PLVision’s frequent Linux Future meetups for engineers on trending topics have been gaining wide audiences.

“I am proud that despite recent extreme challenges, we are continuously winning new projects and delivering on our commitments,” remarked Olena Kozlova, PLVision’s Co-Founder and CEO, on this memorable milestone. “We are grateful to our clients for entrusting us with the implementation of their business ideas, starting from a product’s architectural vision. I would like to thank our incredible expert team for delivering outstanding results in these times full of great uncertainty and for their world-class excellence in doing their jobs.”
