On June 25, 2019, a new Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory was opened at Lviv Polytechnic National University (Lviv, Ukraine). It was made possible by the joint efforts of PLVision, Lviv IT Cluster and its six member companies. In 2016, our experts have contributed to the development of the innovative curriculum of the Internet of Things Bachelor’s Program at the university.

The new laboratory is the second one for this program opened in partnership with PLVision as an Exclusive Partner. It features 14 workplaces and is equipped with the latest equipment for the work on IoT projects: laser engraver, 3D printers, robotic cars and laptops. This lab will enable the students of the Internet of Things program to practice in programming of smart devices, design and production of elements for these devices.

We are proud to join the opening of the IoT Laboratory at Lviv Polytechnic University and believe that this lab will become a place for innovative ideas to be implemented in life and for new qualified experts to grow,” Ihor SalaminPLVision’s Head of Human Capital, commented. Investing in educational initiatives and development of the IT community is an integral part of PLVision’s mission.
