Taras’s election recognizes PLVision’s significant contributions to the growth and promotion of SONiC. Through their SONiC Core initiative, PLVision seeks to accelerate the adoption of Community SONiC, enabling organizations to leverage its benefits in the Tier 2 DC, Enterprise, and Edge markets.
Taras is a highly skilled and experienced professional with extensive experience in open-source communities. He has been instrumental in driving PLVision’s initiatives in the SONiC domain, showing an exemplary commitment to open collaboration. In addition, Taras leads the DENT Project Features Working Group.
As a Governing Board Representative, Taras will advocate for the interests of all companies within the General Member category of the SONiC community. With his deep understanding of SONiC and DentOS, Linux Foundation projects, and Network Operating Systems in general, he brings valuable insights to the challenges and opportunities faced by the SONiC community.
