PLVision is launching a new networking project and is seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. We are looking for candidates with 2+ years of experience in Python and Bash, a strong understanding of the Linux OS, and a passion for finding reliable methods to enhance automated testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of our innovative networking products.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a highly experienced engineering team and contribute to a project focused on integrating and enhancing the SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) network operating system for the client’s hardware platform. This initiative is part of the company’s new product launch, designed to establish a solid foundation for developing and maintaining the SONiC software ecosystem.

Responsibilities 
Build and maintain a stable test environment to enable regular quality evaluation of networking products
Expand test coverage to include new product features
Test SONiC and SAI software across various platforms
Analyze requirements, test plans, and test case documents
Execute regression tests for the product line and maintain detailed test result documentation for debugging and software modifications
Implement new test suites and test cases to enhance regression coverage for new features and protocols
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and testing programs
Create tools and scripts to automate, build, and manage test environments
Assist the engineering team by troubleshooting build issues, resolving build dependencies, and addressing incremental build differences
Maintain and support systems and tools required for software building, integration, and testing
Requirements 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation (Python, Ansible, Bash)
Comprehensive knowledge of QA methodologies
Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD)
Proven experience with CI methodologies and tools (e.g., Gerrit, Jenkins)
Proficiency in Linux as a working environment
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Would be a plus 
Experience with SAI or SONiC implementation and integration
Familiarity with testing NOS (Network Operating System) products
Experience in embedded application development
Solid understanding of Linux networking
Expertise in virtualization and containerization technologies
Strong understanding of CI/CD processes
