We are happy to announce that PLVision is hosting the second specialized Linux Future Lviv meetup for the engineering community. On September 24 we will discuss SONiC, the top priority Linux-based open source network operating system (NOS).
SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) is an open source innovation from Microsoft, contributed to the Open Compute Project (OCP), which is gaining growing industry support from hardware and software partners, including: Dell, Facebook, LinkedIn, Broadcom, Marvell Semiconductor, Mellanox – and many more.
PLVision has a solid experience working with SONiC on our projects for leading global networking product vendors. Our engineers Mykola Faryma and Stepan Blyshchak will demonstrate a number of unique features of SONiC which makes it the most popular open source NOS in the industry nowadays.
