This is an opportunity to lead a talented team of system administrators, shape our security posture through ISO 27001:2022 compliance, and architect resilient infrastructure solutions that enable our business to thrive. You’ll work at the intersection of technology leadership and hands-on expertise, managing critical AWS and on-premise environments while building robust processes that scale with our growth.

In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on company-wide security, infrastructure reliability, and service delivery. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure our IT operations meet the highest standards of security and availability, especially critical in today’s challenging geopolitical environment.

Responsibilities Responsibilities

  • Team Management
    • Managing a team of system administrators (operational support, development, workload planning)
    • Task assignment, SLA monitoring, and quality control
    • Implementing ITSM processes and continuous service improvement

  • ISO 27001:2022 and ISMS
    • Maintaining and developing information security processes in accordance with ISO 27001:2022
    • Preparing for annual audits and working with external auditors
    • Managing ISMS policies, procedures, and documentation (Risk Management, Incident Management, Access Control, BCP, etc.)
    • Conducting internal audits and coordinating corrective actions

  • IT Infrastructure Support and Development
    • Managing AWS cloud infrastructure (servers, VPN, AD, CI/CD services, logging, monitoring)
    • Supporting on-premise infrastructure based on Proxmox (virtualization clusters, backups, monitoring)
    • Ensuring continuity of all critical services
    • Optimizing infrastructure, resources, and costs

  • Network Infrastructure and Security
    • Administering network infrastructure based on Fortigate (VPN, Firewall, IDS/IPS, segmentation, access policies)
    • Monitoring network security policies and incident response
    • Managing office infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, CCTV depending on location)

  • End-User Services & HelpDesk
    • Managing technical support and service desk functions
    • Building and monitoring SLAs for user request processing
    • Organizing onboarding/offboarding, equipment provisioning, access certificate management
    • Developing internal knowledge base

  • Mobile Devices and MDM
    • Supporting and developing Hexnode MDM platform
    • Enforcing policies: encryption, passwords, policy compliance, remote wipe/lock, application management
    • Ensuring security of laptops, smartphones, and other devices

  • Office 365 and SaaS Services
    • Managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD)
    • Controlling access, groups, licenses, DLP policies
    • Supporting integrations and authentication

  • Business Continuity (BCP)
    • Maintaining and updating BCP in wartime conditions and other risk scenarios
    • Ensuring IT infrastructure readiness for emergency scenarios
    • Participating in BCP testing and implementing improvements

Requirements

  • Technical Competencies
    • Experience managing IT infrastructure in medium or large companies (150+ employees)
    • Deep knowledge of AWS (EC2, VPC, VPN, IAM, S3, RDS, backups)
    • Experience with Proxmox or other virtualization systems
    • Hands-on experience with Fortigate network devices (required)
    • Experience administering Office 365 / Azure AD
    • Experience implementing or maintaining ISO 27001, preferably the 2022 version
    • Understanding of ISMS, risk management, audits, incident management processes
    • Experience with MDM (Hexnode will be an advantage)
    • Experience with ITSM systems (Jira Service Management, Confluence)

  • Managerial Competencies
    • Experience managing a team (2-5 people minimum)
    • Ability to build processes, plan workload, and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work with auditors, management, and various business units
    • Clear communication, structured approach, accountability
