This post was updated in December 2022.

Since Russia started its brutal full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, PLVision has been making every effort to support our country’s independence and territorial integrity.

We executed our multi-level BCP to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our company and relocated our experts and their families to safer locations. PLVision’s team is delivering on our commitments to our clients, making us a stable Ukrainian business that supports the country’s economy during these trying times.

Recent events have proven our Ukrainian experts to be not just talented, proactive, and goal-oriented, but also highly motivated and resilient. Therefore, we encourage the global community to keep building business relations with Ukrainian companies and hiring Ukrainian professionals.

PLVision's active stand on supporting Ukraine

We have decided to donate PLVision’s entire net income from 2022 to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and to our country’s recovery. Our team members are also doing everything they possibly can to help defend Ukraine — they have joined territorial defense battalions, and have been assisting Ukraine’s cyber army, donating to the needs of the armed forces, sheltering displaced people in their homes, and collecting and delivering humanitarian and military aid.

How we’re helping: facts and figures

98% of PLVision’s team members are donating to help Ukraine’s army and people in need. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression, our specialists and the company have made joint donations of around UAH 19 282 653..

Of this amount, UAH 17 644 463 (half a million dollars) was donated to the Come Back Alive foundation, the leading organization supporting Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

As of now, we supplied our military with:

  • 80 bulletproof vests
This was made possible by our team’s donation of UAH 643 500 in March, which was fully matched by the company, totaling UAH 1 287 000.
  • 88 combat helmets
Our team decided to make March 8 (normally a day off in celebration of International Women’s Day) a working day and donate their day’s earnings. The UAH 419 808 collected was fully matched by the company, totaling UAH 839 616.
  • 17 drones
So far in April, PLVision’s professionals have donated UAH 765 676 to the Ukrainian Army. The company has doubled this amount, bringing PLVision’s donation to the foundation this month to UAH 1 531 352.
  • 8 sapper suits
Ukrainian Armed Forces are continually clearing liberated territories of unexploded munitions. We directed our next batch of donations to acquire sapper suits for our military. The UAH 979 849 collected was matched by the company, totaling UAH 1 959 698.
  • 3 pickup trucks
In June, PLVision’s team contributed UAH 1.5 million to fund the purchase of two new pickup trucks for Ukraine’s defenders. These vehicles are critically important for the army’s agility. A few months later, the company also financed the purchase of another truck (UAH 172 780) for the military unit in which our colleague serves
  • A powerful camera drone and co-purchased Bayraktar
PLVision community contributed UAH 1 426 275 million to the purchase of the Bayraktar unmanned combat aerial vehicle. Also, the company and the team donated UAH 362 195 for a powerful flagship camera drone.
  • An Equipment for reducing offensive potential
The company and the team donated UAH 7 398 372 for the purchase of secret equipment capable of reducing Russia’s offensive potential. This initiative is called the Black Box project.
  • A reconnaissance and strike military complex
At the end of 2022, our community contributed UAH 1 157 723 to the reconnaissance and strike complex purchase for Ukraine’s Territorial Defence Forces. The project was named Long Arms of Territorial Defence due to its potential to significantly strengthen the military’s capabilities.

In addition, our experts donated a combined UAH 2 637 970 on their own. Most of the amount, UAH 2 118 958, was used to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The remaining UAH 519 012 was donated to those affected by the war.

PLVision’s Active Stand on Ukraine. 2022

The company also supports other important initiatives. They include project Sky, which is modernizing the command and reporting centers of Ukraine’s Air Command West, as well as project Vision, which enables the functionality expansion of the centralized video surveillance system in Lviv Region. There are even more programs we are supporting, but which we cannot disclose for security reasons.

How our professionals are volunteering

In addition to joining PLVision’s in-house volunteering initiatives, our experts are making individual contributions to support Ukraine:

  • More than 50% of our colleagues have already taken part in humanitarian efforts to provide essential goods to Ukrainians in need
  • 48% of our specialists have joined the media war and are part of the cyber army
  • 37% have sheltered displaced people in their homes

We are proud of our experts’ dedicated efforts and are grateful for the unyielding support of PLVision’s customers who have not only donated to the needs of Ukraine but also halted business with the terrorist state of Russia. You can also support Ukraine in several ways: from doing business with Ukrainians to donating funds to sharing information about Russia’s unjust and brutal war.

The global community must stand for our common goals: the liberation of Ukrainian territories, holding Russia responsible for its war crimes, the provision of reparations, and the rebuilding of post-war Ukraine. This way, the international order will be restored, justice will prevail, and Ukraine will be able expand its capabilities, boosting the world’s technology industry and beyond. We can stop this war together.
