We are looking for an experienced R&D and Pre-Sales Manager to manage 2-3 small and medium R&D projects as well as to mobilize and lead pre-sales teams facilitating the preparation of proposals to clients. This position involves close cooperation with and direct reporting to the CTO.

Responsibilities Responsibilities

  • Manage 2-3 small projects simultaneously, both internal (e.g. R&D-related projects) and external ones

  • People management (including involvement in the interviewing and hiring processes)

  • Mentor team members and support their professional growth, monitor team performance

  • Mobilize pre-sales team, find an optimal approach to the potential project proposition: consulting, discovery, formal proposal, etc. and find an optimal approach to the business model

  • Lead pre-sales team and prepare (or facilitate the preparation of) the high-quality proposal based on client needs/company capabilities

  • Ongoing communication with clients. Understand the client business needs and communicate them to project teams

  • Collaborate with all internal departments to resolve project internal issues

  • Control the budget and scope of the project

  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate, and communicate project risks

  • Report project status to clients

Requirements Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Coordination and Management of small/mid-size project teams (up to 30 people in a couple of independent projects)

  • Experience as a Scrum master

  • Hands-on experience in software development

  • Experience in working with foreign customers in the IT industry

  • Understanding of the software development life cycle

  • Ability to elicit and document project requirements

  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills

  • Ability to build effective teams, motivate and direct staff

  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
