Network Infrastructure Architect

Architecture & Design

* Design enterprise-grade network architecture across data centres, cloud, and hybrid environments
* Create scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions aligned with business and security requirements
* Define standards for network segmentation, routing, VPN, connectivity, and redundancy
* Develop blueprint for physical and/or virtual environments

Technical Leadership
* Act as the technical authority for network architecture decisions
* Work closely with engineering, support, and operations teams during build and rollout
* Evaluate and select network platforms, tools, and technologies

Infrastructure Modernization
* Lead network modernization initiatives (SD-WAN, automation, virtualization, zero-trust, etc.)
* Drive adoption of automation, IaC, monitoring, and observability practices
* Optimize performance, latency, and reliability across environments

Governance, Security & Compliance
* Ensure network architecture follows security, governance, and regulatory standards
* Participate in security design reviews and threat-modeling discussions
* Define standards for monitoring, incident response, and network hardening

Documentation & Communication
* Produce high-quality architectural documentation and runbooks
* Communicate architecture recommendations to leadership and engineering teams
* Support infrastructure roadmap and strategic planning

7+ years of experience in enterprise network design and engineering

Strong expertise in designing hybrid network environments (data centre + cloud)

Deep understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, BGP/OSPF

Hands-on knowledge of network virtualization & cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Experience with high-availability and disaster-recovery architecture

Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting, etc.)

Understanding of zero-trust, segmentation, compliance and security frameworks

Strong technical documentation and system-mapping skills

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence technical direction

Exposure to monitoring stacks (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Vendor certifications (Cisco, Juniper, AWS/Azure Architect, RHCE)
